Radiator Service Provider Pack
The Service Provider Pack is the Radiator bundle for ISPs and operators. It combines Radiator AAA Server with a Diameter server, Diameter relay and equipment identity register functions under a network-wide licence for unlimited Radiator instances, priced on users rather than servers.
The problem
Operator AAA needs capabilities a general-purpose RADIUS server does not have, such as Diameter interworking and equipment identity checks, and needs licensing that scales with subscribers rather than with servers.
Target outcome
Subscriber authentication, authorisation and accounting that scales with the network and integrates with provisioning, billing and the core.
What the pack adds
Radiator AAA Server plus the Diameter module: a Diameter server, a Diameter relay, RADIUS to Diameter translation and equipment identity register (EIR) functions, with the subscriber-scale features operators need for fixed-line broadband, Wi-Fi offload and IoT access. Roaming support covers eduroam, govroam, OpenRoaming and iPass. Full source code is supplied.
Where it is used
Fibre and broadband subscriber authentication, address allocation and accounting; CRM and provisioning integration through SQL, LDAP or REST; Wi-Fi offload and IoT private APN access with the SIM Pack; and as the base of the Policy and Charging Pack.

Is the pack licensed per server?
No. The Service Provider Pack is a network-wide licence priced on users, with an unlimited number of Radiator instances, so you can run as many servers as resilience requires.
Which Diameter applications are included?
The Diameter base protocol, the NAS application, the EAP application and Credit-Control, which are the foundations for Gz, Gx and Gy interworking, plus RADIUS to Diameter translation and a Diameter relay.
